Join a Book Discussion Group at Your Nearest Local Library!

The Charles County Public Library offers book discussion groups in two of our branches. All are welcome. Anyone interested in joining can contact their library with the information below or visit the reference desk at their nearest branch.

La Plata Book Discussion Group:
The La Plata Book Group meets at 7:00 pm on the second Thursday of every month.  Contact the group at pfrere@somd.lib.md.us or visit the La Plata reference desk to put a hold on a club book.  Our books for the next few months will be:

Waldorf Book Discussion Group:
The Adult Book Discussion Group meets the first Saturday of every month from 9:30 - 10:30 AM.  Anyone interested in joining the Waldorf Book Discussion group can call  301-645-2864 or email us at mruss@ccplonline.org with your library card number and we will place a copy of the book on reserve for you.  Our books for the next few months will be:
